The focus of our work is to collect, preserve and present the historical record and cultural heritage of the first inhabitants, founding families, and early settlers of Brooklyn, Illinois.
Dedication of a monument symbolizing the town’s history as the oldest incorporated Black town in the country and honoring Mother Baltimore.
